To make this Patchwork Star pin cushion, you will need:-

.    fabric for pin cushion (we used five different medium weight cottons)

.    polyfibre for filling  

.   1 x large button

.   7mm wide flat elastic (enough to go around your wrist)

.    matching thread, general purpose sewing needle and pins

 .   a longer needle to go all of the way through the pin cushion

.    1 x pair each fabric and paper scissors

.    Tailor’s chalk or a pencil
